Chicago, IL - The Premier Basketball League officially announced today that the Detroit Panthers have been accepted and will begin play in the upcoming 2008/2009 season.
The Detroit ownership group is headed by Detroit native and successful businessman Kevin A. Carter, Chairman of the Carter Organization, Inc.

We began discussions with the PBL early in the year and are pleased to now become a member.
